Team,

We’re working with a product catalog of more than 87,000 SKUs, and it is causing DealHub to perform extremely slowly. At this scale, the system has become unmanageable, and we’ve had to revert to a more limited SKU list just to complete the build.

Has anyone dealt with a product catalog of this size? If so, how did you overcome the performance challenges and make the system manageable?

Appreciate any insights or best practices.

Hi! Which part of DealHub do you experience as performing slowly? Is that on the front end (sales reps working in the playbook) or back end (working as an admin)?
Where did you find difficulty managing the SKUs?

In my experience, typically organizations working with a large number of SKU integrate with an ERP or a PIM via API and update the product information in DealHub periodically in an automated fashion.

Also are you working with guided selling?
In cases of a large number of SKUs, there is also the product filter selection method

Product hierarchy also allows to make more sense in selecting products with dependencies

Finally, DealHub is working on a new feature of Tables. You will be able to upload and to hold tables that can be referenced in the playbook and in the products. This will allow to maintain the system more easily, without making complex and repeated changes to the configuration. You can reach out to our CS team to find out more, and we will be sharing more information as we come closer to the release of this feature.
