When one approver in a group approves a proposal via email reply, the other approvers receive a confirmation that no action is needed. Does this same "no action needed" confirmation notification also occur when the approval is done through the DH environment (Digital HQ) or via Slack?

Yes, the same “No action needed” notification will be sent regardless of where the approval was done. You will also get this notification on Slack if your notification settings are set to Slack as a notification method.
