Hi all,

Is there a way for us to set an approval rule that would trigger whenever the user changes the List Price (referred to as "Volume Price" in our instance) in the Product Summary tab? We have dynamic pricing enabled to give reps the ability to update the list price if needed, but we want to set an approval to trigger whenever the value is changed from the default price assigned.

Hi,

Yes, you can do this by creating a Proposal attribute that calculates the difference between MSRP and List Price.

MSRP represents the original List Price from the Pricing Rule, while the List Price can be adjusted if it is dynamic, as in your instance.

The suggested Proposal attribute will display the difference between them. Once this difference is greater (or lower, depending on how you define the calculation) than zero, it indicates that the AE has changed the List Price.

The approval can then be based on this attribute.

Please let me know if you need more specific guidance or if you're able to proceed with these instructions.

Best,
Ilay Spoval.
